The TAG-Book initiative will provide both hardware and software solutions at an affordable price to all Arab citizens.
Our main goal is to provide laptops with state-of-the-art hardware, and the software will include varieties of operating system solutions, office applications, educational packages, entertainment applications, and more.
The laptop will have the following features:
- Suitable for basic uses; not only school students but also university students and home users.
- Fully support for Arabic language
- Very unique chassis design
One of our solutions is providing refurbished PCs to those at the middle and bottom of the Arab countries’ economic pyramid, by joining Microsoft's Secondary PC initiative “Unlimited Potential”; Microsoft and other public and private organizations are working together to build programs that support PC donation, refurbishment, and redistribution to underserved communities.
This project will serve a broad range of user communities; individuals, small businesses, schools, technology training centers, charitable groups and other organizations; by providing quality refurbished PCs with genuine Microsoft software installed.

TAG-OS is the first and the only fully Arabized Open Source Operating System that will be developed in an innovative way to address all Arab citizen needs by all means of Arab civilization (History, language, culture, traditions, and philosophy) by providing a solution with an Arab cultural identity, away from the western culture Supremacy.
The goal of this project is to provide an easy and appropriate tool for the Arabic PC user (especially first time users who do not possess any previous experience with PCs) to learn how to use PC basic applications and access the internet (IT Literacy Tool).
A complete Arabic interface Operating System is crucial need in the Arab world, so we are working to provide an Arabic system with all the basic applications needed.
In addition to providing educational institutions (schools) with special educational applications will facilitate the process of adopting and spreading this project in many other locations. Moreover, this project will act as the gate for Arab users to the Open Source Software Culture.
